South Kashmir: Encounter started in Shopian District Light has been installed at whole area

Srinagar, Jan 26 : (LNN) Encounter started between militants and Security forces in Nowgam Check village of South Kashmir's Shopian district. 

An sources told-Live News Network (LNN) that a joint team of Police army's and CRPF, launched a cordon and search operation in Nowgam Check area

Light has been installed in around the encounter area of Nowgam Check

A senior police officer also confirmed to about exchange of firing between militants and Government forces in the area.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.

More forces rushed in encounter spot, and all exit and enter points sealed off in Nowgam check area. Whole area cordoned off. (LNN)
