Budgam Encounter: 01 militants killed, AK 56 Rifle Recovered in Gunfight, search operation continues

Budgam, 30 Jan: (LNN) One unidentified militants have been killed in an Gunfight by government forces in Charar-i-Shareef area of Center Kashmir's Budgam district.

One LET militants have been killed in an encounter which broke out on Saturday late evening in Charar-i-Shareef. So far identity of the slain militant couldn't be established.

An Official Sources told News agency–Live News Network—(LNN) that Searches are still underway at encounter site as there is possibility of one more militant, they said.

Earlier Reports reaching that a joint team of Police, Army's 53RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.(LNN)
