02 soldiers Jawans Critical injured in ongoing gunfight at Shopian

Srinagar, Jan 26 : Two soldiers Jawan have received injuries in an ongoing encounter in Nowgam Check village of South Kashmir's Shopian district on Wednesday

An Official sources told–Live News Network–(LNN) that two Soldiers Jawan were injured in the initial exchange of fire at Nowgam check, who have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Earlier, an official said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, which was retaliated, triggering a gunfight—(LNN)
